Problem:
In partnership with the New Jersey Department of Education, the Ironworker
District Council of Northern New Jersey started a unique Youth Transition
To Work (YTTW) program for High School juniors and seniors; they already
had materials for their Apprenticeship programs, but now they needed
special materials to attract teens.
The Lewis Solution:
We created a dramatic
website a njteeniron.com as well as a colorful, three panel table top
display to use at many career shows.
Results:
Over the last year, more than
30 high school graduates have applied to the Ironworker Apprenticeship
Program, dramatically reducing the advertising costs to attract candidates
while increasing the quality of each applicant.
